Studio Abarth specialising on completion of cars of Fiat, plans to be engaged now in tuning of cars Alfa Romeo. About it, referring to head Abarth on marketing and sales Antonio Labate, writes the British magazine Autocar.
According to Labate, about modernisation of models Alfa Romeo — Abarth is not solved yet. "We will not work, for example, with Mi.To — this model already has charged version Cloveleaf. However brand Alfa Romeo has also other cars", — he declared.
Experts mark, complexities with completion of Alfa Romeo at Abarth does not arise — these cars are constructed on the general platforms with Fiat models for which Italian tuning studio already has some tuning programs. In particular, under mark Abarth are issued "hot" versions of models of Fiat 500 and Grande Punto which for two years dispersed by circulation in 22,000 pieces.
Besides, some time ago Abarth confirmed officially the intention to develop and deduce on the market own model which could make Volkswagen Golf 6 GTI competition. Most likely, it will be a compact roadster or the small coupe.
